Description

Based in Swift Current, under the direction of the Lean Manager  AGI  Swift Current, the Lean Manufacturing Technician, will provide support and work directly with, but not limited to different levels of AGI  Swift Current Management, Supervisors and external consultants in a change management environment. The focus is on systemic processes to improve performance, inclusive of management and business systems. Bring a Lean based approach to achieving improved production capabilities based on Continuous Improvement methodologies.

Requirements:    
    A high school diploma or have a general education degree (GED).
    Manufacturing experience.
    Lean Manufacturing and project management experience (preferred).
    A two-year college or technical school; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience (preferred).
    Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures or government regulations.
    Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedural manuals and effectively present information and respond to questions
    Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
    Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as proportions, percentages, area, circumference and volume while applying concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
    Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
    Must be able to work effectively, individually, and in a team environment.
