Description

The Visitor Service Attendant  Collections Management Technician will be responsible for the organization, cataloguing, and storage of the Centres heritage collection.

The Visitor Service Attendant  Collections Management Technician will:

Catalogue, photograph, research and pack a large volume of heritage artifacts in accordance with museum standards.
Develop a thematic reorganization plan for long-term storage.
Compile a loan inventory.
Compile a report of De-accession recommendations for Management.
Operate the front desk which includes processing retail sales, admissions, taking registrations, bookings and answering enquiries.
Organize, catalogue and pack the book collection as part of the paper artifact re-organization.
Participate in the City of Lloydminsters Safety Management System.
Support program/tour development and implementation.
Other related duties as assigned.
