Seasonal Employment available at Vogel Honey Farm, SW 25-41-04 W3, RM of Rosthern, from May to October 2019. Pay: $12.30/hour.
Work Includes:
- building and repairing equipment
- bee yard maintenance
- assessing and managing bee hives
- removal of honey from hives
- extracting honey
- assisting with nucleus colonies
- identifying and catching queens
- feeding bees
- preparing hives for winter
- cleaning and storing equipment
The ideal candidate should work well with others, be physically fit, able to lift heavy loads, enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, pay careful attention to detail, and be willing to work long hours in all types of weather.
