Christopher Warriner o/a West Cowan Apiaries located at SE 14-56-8 W3 Big River, Saskatchewan S0J 0E0 is looking to hire 2 Apiary Supervisors who can perform the following duties: must be able to work in the presence of honey bees and will assist with colony management, honey extraction and processing, and queen-rearing; recognize and report beehive health issues and apply appropriate disease cures or controls; supervise and give direction to other employees; keep field and production records and any other apiary jobs that are required.

Requirements: No formal education required but with at least grade 12 education an asset; 3-4 full seasons of apiary experience required; with valid driver's licence and own vehicle to get back and forth to work; experience driving standard truck an asset; in good physical condition; and able to work in a team environment.

Employment details: Seasonal and full-time; employment date April 3-October 24, 2019; wage $15-$20 per hour depending on experience at minimum 40 hours of work per week; training is provided on ongoing basis; most tasks are performed outdoors in all kinds of weather; work is repetitive and physically demanding.
