Position summary:
the Touchwood Child & Family services Inc. is seeking a Human Resource Generalist. The successful candidate will report directly to the TCFS Inc. Director of Operations. The position is responsible for developing, implementing and evaluating human resources, labour relations and personnel policies, programs on the implementation of these procedures. The Human Resource Generalist is responsible for the implementation of these policies, procedures and programs and will ensure that they are compatible with the Federal and provincial Labour Standards Code.
Qualifications
A University degree or collage diploma in a field related to personnel management such as business administration, commerce or communication with minimum of two years experience in a related field
Must be able to pass security screening and sign an Oath of Confidentiality
Must Possess a valid drivers License and access reliable vehicle
Knowledge of Cree, Saulteaux culture and language as well as the political and social objectives of the member First Nations.
