Beginning in 1989 as a transformer maintenance and repair shop, PTI Transformers Inc. (PTI) has grown progressively and is now an innovative leader in the electrical industry producing some of the most groundbreaking, cost-effective, and high quality solutions for transformers globally. The Company's 120+ employees currently manufacture and service liquid-filled distribution and small to medium size power transformers from a 100,000 square foot facility in Regina. Our production facility operates only one shift from 7:30 am to 5:00 pm and shop employees enjoy having every second Friday as an earned day off. PTI has a competitive total compensation package including company-paid benefits and a pension plan.
In order to be considered for this position, you MUST already be living in Canada and be eligible to work as we do not have an open LMIA. A criminal record check will be conducted before hire.
Minimum requirements are a grade 12 diploma and the Sask Polytech pre-employment welding certificate (or equivalent) plus prior production welding experience. A transferable CWB welding ticket would be an asset.
We are unable to accommodate apprentices working towards
their journeyman status.
