AGI Envirotank is looking for a Level 1 or 2 CWB Welding Inspector with CSA W47.1 I CSA W59 and API 650 to work at our Head Office in Biggar, SK. Our company offers competitive wages, an extensive benefit package and a company RRSP plan.
Qualifications:
NACE Level 1 Certified .
Extensive knowledge of the ULC, API650 & API12F Codes.
Highly motivated, well organized and detail oriented.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Minimum of 5-10 years experience in the welding and tank building industry.
CWB Welding Supervisor certification an asset but not required.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
Review ITP & drawings for each project .
Assist drafting department in determining weld procedures & weld symbol requirements.
Work with third party inspectors & organize visits.
Book & organize all required NDE for each project.
Read & review required job specific specifications.
Visually inspect all projects.
Preform pneumatic & hydro tests.
Completion of weld maps & NDE maps.
Rate welder performances.
Supervise weld testing.
Holiday test internal linings.
Take blast profiles & paint thicknesses.
Inspect final shipment packages.
Inspect all incoming material & parts.
Record heat numbers.
