Regina Housing Authority provides safe, secure and affordable housing.  We are currently looking for a Tenant Relations Officer to join our Customer Relations and Housing Programs team.  If you are an energetic, organized, patient, team player who thrives in environments working with seniors, we have the perfect job for you!

The Tenant Relations Officer is responsible for all aspects of tenant selection, placement, support and service referral. The main duty of the Tenant Relations Officer is to provide each tenant with suitable placement based on the applicants needs and our current vacancies. As well as, respond to any tenant complaints and work towards a resolution in a timely manner. The Tenant Relations Officer establishes an ongoing relationship with tenants to facilitate a successful tenancy and ensure adequate supports are in place.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
* Knowledge in community development, social programs, and non-profit administration.
* Excellent written and verbal communication with emphasis on interpersonal skills, mediation and conflict resolution.
* Ability to interpret Acts and Regulations and apply policies and procedures.
* Ability to prioritize and organize a heavy workload outside the confines of a set schedule.
* Critical thinking skills with the ability to make good decisions in a variety of situations.  
* Demonstrate a high degree of self-initiation, reliability, flexibility, time management and good judgment.

Qualifications:
* A Degree in Social Work, Nursing, Social Sciences (or related discipline) combined with related experience.
* A clear and satisfactory Criminal Record Check (required upon hire).
* Access to a reliable vehicle and a valid driver's license, mileage will be reimbursed on a per KM basis.
* Preference will be given to those who possess non-profit administrative experience with an emphasis on community development.
