Description

The primary purpose of the role is to conduct analysis to facilitate fact based, informed decision making and integration of risk based management throughout the company.  This position manages relationships to support the delivery of information, analysis, and reporting to various users throughout the company including management, committees, and the Board of Directors.

The Analyst provides analysis to effectively assess the financial performance of operations, by supporting management teams and assisting in the development of business line strategy with a focus on risk management and value drivers.  This role assists in the development, compilation and monitoring of key portfolio performance and profitability measures and exposure levels to key risks.  This role will prepare data for reporting and modeling purposes which includes collecting and cleaning data, and provide timely reporting of information to facilitate informed business decisions.  In collaboration with business units this position implements, prepares, and measures various aspects of corporate risk and compliance.

This position contributes to the achievement of corporate, division, department and people objectives, by monitoring and analyzing outcomes of strategic actions including assisting with ad-hoc projects such as peer benchmarking analysis, and market research.  The Analyst assists with the implementation of business unit tactics, and collaborates with staff and vendors to advance financial reporting and analysis systems.

The successful candidate will have completed an undergraduate degree in Commerce/Business Administration, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
