Description

The Rural Municipality of Mervin No. 499 is now accepting applications for the position of Office Manager until a suitable candidate is found. This is a full time permanent position with employment duties shared between the R.M. of Mervin No. 499 and the North Saskatchewan River Municipal Health Holdings (NSRMHH), located in the Town of Turtleford.
The successful applicant, under the direction of the Chief Administrative Officer (CAO), will provide support to the CAO for all aspects of municipal administrative duties as well as serve the NSRMHH. The NSRMHH is responsible for overseeing the operations of the four clinics located in St. Walburg, Turtleford, Edam and Glaslyn. The responsibilities related to the NSRMHH is for the overall coordination and day-to-day operations of the NSRMHH and reports to the Board. This includes, but is not limited to, contract negotiations, financial, human and physical asset management as well as the Administrative duties pertaining to the NSRMHH. The R.M. offers a comprehensive benefits package as well as a competitive salary ($57,393 - $81,008) based on relative experience. Interested applicants should have previous experience in accounting, computer applications, administrative practices, Parliamentary practices and procedures and the position requires excellent public and communication skills. A working knowledge or experience within the health care system or local government would be an asset.
