Manager, Human Resources (Term to June 30, 2020)

We are seeking a creative, strategic-minded, influential leader who is passionate about people. If you enjoy developing and implementing Human Resource strategies, programs and processes that enrich the people and culture of an organization, this may be the position for you.

The Job
Reporting to the AVP, Strategic Solutions, you will be responsible for leading, coaching and mentoring the Human Resource (HR) and Payroll team as they deliver HR programs and services to the organization. You will strategically position human resource programs that will help maximize the organizations business results, lead the implementation of those programs and plan and budget ensuring alignment with the organizations strategic and financial goals. You will follow trending on people issues internal and external to the organization and develop solutions to proactively address emerging issues in the organization, mitigating risk and providing the most successful outcome. In addition, you will work with SaskCentral senior management, executive and board to facilitate dialogue on human resource matters and programs.

The Candidate
The ideal candidate will have a degree in Business or Commerce with a major in Human Resources complemented by seven or more years experience in the HR field. A Chartered Professional in Human Resources (CPHR) designation would be an asset.  Extensive knowledge of recruitment, learning & development, compensation & benefits, employee relations, performance & succession management, job evaluation, workforce planning and HR strategy is required. You will have advanced leadership and coaching skills, strong change management and facilitation skills complemented with solid communication skills. The ability to build and sustain relationships will be important to your success in this role.
