Viterra is seeking a Project Manager/Engineer. The successful candidate will be responsible to ensure facilities are designed and constructed to meet customers business needs and company standards.

Key Responsibilities:
Prepare scope of work and capital cost estimates for projects based on customer requirements.
Complete feasibility studies and recommend alternatives to meet project requirements.
Select products, services and solutions and recommend contracting strategies to achieve desired project results.
Prepare specifications for construction work and request bids for construction and equipment supply.
Manage construction activities to ensure adherence to budget and schedule.
Administer construction contracts, including contract changes, cost tracking, and project reporting.
Visit construction sites and perform inspections to ensure work meets specifications.

Knowledge and Skills:
Experience using a Computerized Maintenance Management Systems.
Able to prioritize and manage multiple projects.

Education and Qualifications:
Minimum of five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in project management, design, construction, and maintenance in diversified fields such as: site design, bulk material handling, grain and oilseed processing, fertilizer handling, crop protection product storage, and/or livestock feed production.
Degree in Engineering. Registered as a professional member of the Association of Professional Engineers of the incumbent's respective province.

Equivalent combinations of education and experience that result in the required level of knowledge skill and competence will be considered.
