Facility: CARE SERVICES - REGINA
Job Description: The Registered Dietitian will use their in-depth scientific knowledge to provide high quality nutritional and hydrational education and instruction to oncology patients during their entire cancer care experience including:  assessment, intervention, treatment coordination and administration, teaching, counselling, support and follow-up.  This position reports to a Site Manager or Provincial Leader of Supportive Care within the Care Services Division.
Required Qualifications

Membership with Dietitians of Canada
Completion of a Dietetic Internship
Membership with the Saskatchewan Dietitians Association
Bachelor Degree in Nutrition or equivalent
Experience
3 years experience in clinical nutrition  
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Relevant clinical nutrition knowledge and ability to apply clinical knowledge in practice.
Ability to coordinate and periodically assume responsibility for work over others
Ability to design, deliver, and evaluate nutritional programs and services.
Assessment skills, including the ability to interpret detailed patient information effectively.
Communication skills are required to develop and present complex information including written documentation and verbal presentations.
Competent in the use of computers and Microsoft applications
Considerable Judgment and problem solving ability is required to identify, analyze and define problems and select the most appropriate solution to rectify them.
Human relations skills are required to develop formal relationships of a therapeutic nature to assist others in achieving their short or long term goals
