Description

You are a computing crusader, fascinated by gizmos, programs and gigabytes, and undaunted by statistics, analytics and queries.  Technical manuals are like the Lost Journal of Indiana Jones - the clues to solving a mystery.  A neatly coiled CAT6 cable and Torx screwdriver hang from your belt.  Even blindfolded, you know your ports from peripherals.  Your sleuthing skills include asking detailed questions and unearthing answers in the digital data.  Fluent in the language of technology; you patiently translate tekkie-speak to everyday language so the rest of us can keep up in the adventure.

Reporting to the Manager of Innovation, you will provide day-to-day technology support for all aspects of computer and technology devices.  A basic understanding of database principles and data analytics is preferred.  A learning mindset is absolutely essential to the success of this position.

A successful Technology & Data Analytics Co-ordinator will follow directions and communicate with precision.  Technology duties associated with the position are primarily acting as a liaison and a physical presence for contract services who orchestrate the technical aspects of hardware and software installs/updates/fixes.  Unity Credit Union is currently undertaking building renovations.  Moving/installing/troubleshooting computer hardware will be on-going during this period.  Coding is NOT a required competency.

This position will also advance our work in data queries and analytics.  To be successful, the candidate must have an appetite for self-directed learning, creative problem solving, and meticulous documentation.

For the right individual, this is an opportunity to gain broad experience in technology within a structured environment, be a member of a high performance co-operative team; learn how credit unions differ from banks, and be actively involved in the community.
