Description

This position is for the Leon Ram Group of Companies.  We require a Corporate Accountant for overseeing and assisting the total Accounting and Information Systems (ERP) area of our different companies.  The Corporate Accountant will liaise with current Controllers and Accounting staff in each company to improve procedures and prompt completion of financial statements and related data.  The Corporate Accountant will support and assist current Controllers in drafting financial statements and management reports, and assist with budget preparations, reconciliations, accrual decisions, and scheduling of various accounting related tasks.  Candidates will report to the President or designate working and assisting current Controller in each Company.  

Preferable qualifications include:
Accounting related designation in Canada with experience in a computerized environment
Successful Leadership experience in a multi-million-dollar organization.  Candidate must be keen to assume a leadership role in controlling the company resources to ensure business and financial objectives are met.  This requires skills in effective management of accounting staff resources, regular interaction with other company departments, and exceptional time management to ensure deadlines are met.

Multi-Years experience in a Canadian accounting and tax management role preferably in a manufacturing or related type industry.
