Job Description: This position is responsible for the overall administration of long term care in Humboldt. This includes strategic planning, organization, direction, leadership, coordination, education of services and staff communication/interaction with professionals and care groups across Saskatoon Health Region to provide a seamless continuum of care. The Manager of Client Services -Site Leader is responsible for financial accountability including budget development, ongoing analysis of capital, supply and salary budgets, as well as resource allocation and utilitization. The Manager is accountable for the establishment and maintenance of practice standards, clinical/client education, and quality improvent and participates in and/or supports research activities. The Manager is reponsible for creating and sustaining a workplace environment that fosters respect, builds trust, practices open communication, encourages innovation and promotes meaningful staff participation, growth and development.
Required Qualifications

Bachelor Degree/Diploma in Nursing
Registered or eligible for registration with the Saskatchewan Registered Nurses Association (SRNA)
Experience
- Previous experience managing a unionized work environment is an asset.
- A minimum of three years managerial experience in a health care organization.

- Knowledge of long term care is required
- Enthusiastic self-starter with strong leadership, interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to lead change
- Understands and is committed to the philosophy of resident directed care
- Working knowledge of modern office technology
- Ability to set priorities and meet deadlines
