Theres a lot that goes into maintaining a hotel with 200 guestrooms, a waterpark, pub, restaurant and over 15,000 square feet of meeting space.
To help keep our building functioning at peak performance, we need a pro! No; not that kind of pro were talking about a member of our team who can work independently and focus on the PROactive side of our maintenance operations completing duties such as:
Repairing vinyl and drywall
Painting
Performing general grounds keeping such as shoveling snow
Completing scheduled waterpark pool tests and filter maintenance
Installing ceiling tiles
Repairing items such as toilets and heat pumps
Performing routine maintenance such as changing out light bulbs
Replacing fixtures such as sink taps or thermostats
-Knowledge of boiler checks and different kinds of commercial heating or cooling systems is not required but considered an asset.
Starting wage will depend on previous experience. Think of this position as the Jack (or Jill) -of-all-trades of our Maintenance department. If youve spent a couple of years flipping houses, doing restoration work, maintaining an apartment complex or working maintenance in other commercial building you likely have the basic knowledge were looking for.
We are looking for someone who can work Thursday to Sunday, 8:00am to 4:30pm. However we are a 24/7 business and there are times, or projects where an open availability would be helpful.
