The Role:
Work with the Senior Management team to strategically plan for leadership development, succession planning, recruitment, employee safety, and training & development.
Develop and implement training programs that reflect the needs of the business
Oversee Health and Safety program
Manage WCB and Return to Work programs
Direct all HR team members in day-to-day responsibilities

The Ideal Candidate:
Minimum 5 years experience applying human resource      management practices and principles
Minimum 3 years experience with WCB, Duty to Accommodate, Safety legislation and human rights.
Degree or Diploma in Human Resources or Business Administration
CHRP would be considered an asset
Experience working in a blue-collar environment is an advantage
Highly dependable and trustworthy and able to manage conflicting priorities and deadlines
