The Ministry of Highways and Infrastructure, Fleet Services, is seeking a term Journeyperson Mechanic for its Tisdale satellite shop.

Under the general direction of the Service Supervisor, you will provide customer repair services to Fleet Services clients. This includes mechanical repairs, preventative maintenance, and Saskatchewan Government Insurance safety inspections to all types of trucks, highway construction and maintenance equipment, with services performed in the shop and field. Travel is required with the possibility of overnight stays.

To qualify for this position you will possess a valid Journeyperson Certificate recognized by the Province of Saskatchewan. Fourth Year Apprentices in Heavy Equipment, Truck and Transport, or Agricultural Mechanics may be considered if no competent Journeyperson Mechanics apply. You will also possess a valid Class 5 operator's license, with the ability to upgrade to Class 3A within the probationary period.
