Bit Service Company offers a wide range of quality products for the mining, construction, and materials handling industries. We have an in-house fabrication and repair service where we fabricate customized support equipment and accessories, from bit installation and removal tools for the potash industry, to full cutting assemblies for boring machines, and repair and refurbish cutting assemblies for boring machines, continuous miners, roadheaders and undercutters. We are the exclusive Western Canadian distributor and warehousing agent for manufacturers The Cincinnati Mine Machinery Co., Sandvik Mining and Construction, McSweeneys Inc., and The Bowdil Company.
Reporting to the Shop Foreman, the Shop Labourer is responsible for the safe production and servicing of mining consumables. The Shop Labourer also assists with shipping and receiving, delivery to sites, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
