Our client has an immediate full-time permanent opportunity available for a Digital Circuit Designer    


Responsibilities:
    Responsible for the design and development of new products in the area of high speed digital circuit design, component selection, prototyping, troubleshooting, test and transitioning new products to production.
    Responsible for the development of hardware for products using:
    - High speed processors
    - High speed ADC/DACs
    - FPGAs, DDRx memory
    - PMIC design
    - Gigabit Ethernet
    - High speed clocks
    - Digital bus interfaces (SPI, USB, I2C)
    - Microcontrollers



Qualifications:
    Experience with DOCSIS is considered an asset
    Schematic entry and multi-layer circuit board design/layout and simulation (Altium/PADS)
    Part evaluation and selection
    Verification and debugging of circuits
    Soldering experience (0201/0402 packages, fine pitch ICs)
    Test equipment experience with the following:
    - High speed oscilloscopes
    - Spectrum analyzers
    - Power supplies
    Technical project team leadership
    Electrical/Electronics Engineering degree or equivalent with a minimum 5 years of related (non-academic) industry experience
