Description

Maintains, operates and repairs a 3rd Class plant/energy centre system.

Education:
Power Engineering Technology Diploma; Third Class Engineer Trade Certificate

Experience:
No Previous Work Experience

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Organizational, communication and interpersonal skills.  Ability to work independently.  Ability to read blueprints and schematics. Intermediate computer skills. Intermediate knowledge of mechanical and electrical trades. Will be required to work all shifts, ability to enter into confined spaces.  Previous experience in operation start up and shut down of water tube boilers, electric chillers, operation of emergency stand by power equipment is an asset.

Additional Information:
On Call required.

Hours of Work:8, 10 & 12 HR
