Description

Duties:
Reporting to the Waterworks Manager, the responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to:
    Operate and maintain all aspects of the water treatment, wastewater treatment, water distribution and wastewater collection facilities.
    Work without direct supervision but within approved policies, procedures and specifications.
    Be part of the weekend shift and evening on call rotation.

Qualifications:
The successful candidate will have the ability to work towards Class 4 Water Treatment certification
    Grade 12 diploma.
    Preference will be given to those who have:
o    Water Treatment Class 4
o    Wastewater Treatment Class 2,
o    Water Distribution Class 2  
o    Wastewater Collection Class 2
Training will be made available
    Saskatchewan  Class 5 drivers license
    Good written and verbal communications skills
    Computer knowledge an asset
    Good interpersonal skills
    Be medically/physically fit and willing to work under all weather and working conditions including confined spaces
Applicants must obtain certification in Level 1 Water Treatment, Water Distribution. Wastewater Collection and Wastewater Treatment within 14 months of employment. A drivers abstract and a satisfactory Criminal Record Check are required for this position.

Salary:
    As per collective agreement. Range is from $23.60 - 30.60 depending on certification level, plus benefits package.
