Job Description: Nursing duties and responsibilities on a 12 bed Mental Health acute care unit, working within a multi-disciplinary team environment.
Required Qualifications

Bachelor Degree/Diploma in Nursing or Bachelor Degree/Diploma in Psychiatric Nursing
Registered or eligible for registration with the Registered Psychiatric Nurses Association of Saskatchewan (RPNAS) or Saskatchewan Registered Nurses Association (SRNA)
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Counseling skills
Advanced interpersonal skills
Advanced organizational skills
Ability to adapt to changing conditions
Advanced assessment skills
Facilitation skills
Mediation skills

The ability to demonstrate excellent working knowledge of commonly used psychotropic medications, the Provincial Mental Health Services Act and Regulations, psychiatric conditions, demonstrated competency  in comprehensive psychiatric  nursing assessments, care planning and treatment is preferred.

FTE: 1.00

Hours of Work: Shift Information: Days, Nights, Weekends
149.36 hours per 4 week rotation: 12 shifts of 11.78 hours, 1 shift of 8.00 hours
