Cypress Paving Ltd is a heavy construction company providing Saskatchewan with aggregate services since 1976. We are currently accepting applications for an experienced Gravel Crusher Operator to complement our operations crew.This individual must have an experienced background in the Aggregate industry and capable of working independently, promote a positive & safe work environment while working with team members & management in a fast paced work environment.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Operate crusher, performing all duties in accordance with company health & safety regulations
Experience with running both loader and tower
Basic preventative maintenance and cleaning of equipment
Accurately complete reports and other documentation as required
Ability to complete pre-shift inspections & assist with maintenance or repair of equipment as needed
Perform tasks such as, changing screens, repairing & splicing conveyor belts & greasing equipment as needed
Assist with setup/teardown of crushing, conveying & screening equipment
Other related duties as required
Qualifications:
Minimum experience (2+ yrs) in the aggregate industry, and or Crusher Tower Operator
Thorough knowledge of crushing, safety, quality & production practices
Familiar with crushing equipment as well as crushing maintenance expectations & standards
Valid drivers license and reliable form of transportation
Valid Class 5 or Class 1A license would be an asset
Must be able to work in a team environment
Physically demanding & considered a safety sensitive position
Able to meet tight deadlines
Seasonal full time with commitment/ability to be on duty up to 12hrs Monday-Friday, willingness to undertake overtime during busy periods (overtime/weekends/stat holidays)
Ability to lift 50lbs or more, work in extreme weather conditions, confined space/heights
