Description

Exciting, challenging and dynamic  Become a part of our growing group of companies in the new role of Sales Manager. This Regina-based position will hold accountability for leading a team of sales professionals and providing leadership, comprehensive sales plans and data analysis to determine the most profitable mix of products.  
Responsibilities include:
    Managing organizational sales by developing and implementing strategies focused on growth and the effective use of resources.
    Setting organizational and individual sales targets with the team.
    Tracking and reporting on results to senior management on a pre-determined schedule.
    Developing the team through product training and providing coaching and leadership on a continuous basis.
    Collaborating with the marketing team on new product roll-outs and promotional initiatives.
    Utilizing relationship management techniques to provide excellent customer service.
    Acting as an escalation point for complex customer concerns that are unable to be resolved by the sales person assigned to that account.

Qualifications include the completion of post-secondary education in business administration or commerce and a minimum of 5 years experience providing leadership to a sales team in a retail or distribution environment. The ideal candidate must demonstrate competency in building and leading a team that is focused on a diverse product mix, a capacity to learn and share information, demonstrated skill in change management, and the ability to proactively forecast and plan. Strong critical thinking skills, a high level of detail orientation and initiative are required. A background in the construction industry and the ability to read blueprints are considered an asset.

The successful candidate must currently hold or be able to obtain a passport and must have no border restrictions. Competitive compensation will be provided including a benefit program with health and dental coverage.
