Description

Reporting directly to the Senior Manager, Finance, the Manager, Accounting Services will provide leadership and direction to the individuals responsible for centralized accounting services, such as: accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash receipting, and general ledger reconciliations. This position will be responsible for producing quarterly financial statements in accordance to PSAS, and monitor cashflow requirements. This position will work alongside the Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis to ensure the integrity of financial data within the Citys Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system. This position will work directly with the Senior Manager, Finance to recommend improvements to accounting processes, policies, and financial controls.

    Financial reporting for municipalities
    Account reconciliations
    Accounting for TCAs
    Financial controls
    Cashflow and debt management
