Controller/Accounting Manager
Reporting to the Vice-President Finance, the Accounting Manager is responsible for overseeing all of the accounting functions at Meridian Manufacturing Inc., Regina, including the general ledger and account reconciliations, preparing monthly financial statements and reporting on financial results.
Requirements:
- Minimum Bachelors degree with a major in accounting required.
- CPA designation is preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in accounting.
- Manufacturing experience is an asset.
- Excellent computer skills.
- Experience working with the general ledger and account reconciliations is preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Ability to effectively manage and prioritize job responsibilities
- Strong written and verbal skills to communicate with all levels of the organization and its executive team.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
