Technical Skills/Competencies:
A Bachelors/Masters Degree in Mechanical Engineering
5+ years experience in product design for manufacturing
Time & Project Management skills
3D CAD drafting skills / understanding of accepted drafting principles
Experience with Autodesk Inventor and Vault in an engineering environment that relied on a PDM or PLM system
Strong understanding of design for manufacturing and value engineering
Experience and creativity needed to contribute to improving internal processes
Experience in a Lean Manufacturing
