Description

The Media Co-ordinator position will incorporate all aspects of our business and tell our story online, encouraging interaction from our social media members.  The ideal candidate would have previous experience with social media platforms in a business setting.  The successful candidate will be well acquainted with Facebook and Instagram media platforms, and willing to learn other popular social media programs.  The candidate will ideally have a current valid drivers license. Ideally the candidate would be familiar with iphone and with both PC and Mac. You will work closely with our outside Media Advisor and must be able to take direction from multiple personnel.  You will often be working independently and between two locations in Saskatoon.   The successful candidate will also be responsible for learning how to update and maintain our new website and create media to display seasonal greetings and store specials.  Computer literacy and creativity will be paramount to this position.  Attention to detail, including spelling and grammar is key.  Positive attitude and ability to cooperate and coordinate with others, reliability and accountability are a necessity. You will be responsible for creating and managing your timelines and successfully meeting deadlines set.  The successful candidate must have a clean criminal record check and must be insurable and bondable.
The successful candidate will be working directly with store staff, and from time to time with clients, to create pictures and videos for posting.  The successful candidate must be willing to learn and participate in all aspects of the business.  Every member of our organization has greeted clients, helped with a bed sale, dusted and rearranged a showroom.  We are a family owned and operated business that operates with the vision that everyone contributes to our success.  Remuneration will be based on experience.  Benefits may be avail.
