Description

Elections Canada is seeking expressions of interest from individuals for the position of Automation Coordinator in the Moose Jaw - Lake Centre- Lanigan Electoral District, in preparation for the 2019 federal general election.  Elections experience is an asset; bilingualism (French and English preferred.) Candidates should currently live in the Electoral District, as the work will be based out of Moose Jaw, SK.

Key activities will be to manage service centre technology, including producing statutory reports and activities.
Test/operate hardware/software.
Provide technical troubleshooting and computer support within the Returning Office and Additional Returning Offices.  
Oversee information technology security procedures.
Train employees as needed in the service centre
Perform other duties as requested by the returning Officer.

Experience:
Managing and setting up LAN
Managing human resources
Managing Projects
Recruiting and selecting employees
Providing technical Support Services
Using Windows -based computer applications

Applicants must remain impartial in all dealings during the electoral event, and be able to work under tight time constraints.

Must be eligible to obtain a security clearance.
