Description

Elections Canada is seeking expressions of interest from individuals for the position of Automation Coordinator in the Moose Jaw- Lake Centre- Lanigan Electoral District in preparation for the 2019 federal general election.  Elections experience would be an asset, bilingualism (French and English) preferred, and candidates should reside in or near Moose Jaw, SK.

Key Activities:
1.    Manage service centre technology, including producing reports and activities.
2.    Provide technical troubleshooting and computer support within the Returning Ofiice and two additional returning offices.
3.    Oversee information technology security procedures.
4.    Perform other duties as requested by the returning officer.
Duties:
Manage service centre technology, including producing statutory reports and activities
-supervise the LAN set-up
-Supervise service centre set-up and take down
-Test/operate hardware/software
-Training of other employees in the office to use the service centre and technology
-Must remain impartial in all dealings during the electoral event.

Must be eligible to obtain a security clearance.
