Senior Project Manager

Job Summary:
Reporting to the Chief Information Officer, the Senior Project Manager is responsible for managing one or more highly complex or enterprise wide IT and business project (s) to support the strategic, tactical and operational needs of the Workers Compensation Board. In partnership with senior leadership in the business units, the Sr. Project Manager will identify and prioritize opportunities for utilizing IT to achieve the goals of the enterprise. The Sr. Project Manager will also help establish and enforce the standards, procedures and practices of the WCB Project Management Office. The Sr. PM should be proficient in both agile and waterfall project management methodologies and tools. This position will be responsible for supervising and mentoring one or more project managers.
Qualifications:
The following Education, Experience, Designations/Licenses are job requirements:
A University Degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited University
Minimum of 10 -12 years experience as a systems professional in a medium to large systems environment with demonstrated experience in progressively responsible roles including:
A minimum of ten years experience in software project management, planning and information technology administration, and
A minimum of five years experience in managing and leading individual and team performance.
