Description

We need someone to:
    Operates all equipment in an efficient manner supporting construction and road maintenance services and activities
    Actively supports safety culture by operating equipment and tools in a safe manner reporting all near misses and incidents to management in a timely fashion
    Conducts pre-operational checks to established procedure reporting to Fleet Maintenance when necessary
    Operates a variety of heavy equipment such as backhoes, dozers, loaders, mills, light equipment,  and graders in all weather conditions/environments for construction, maintenance, and road works
    Cleans heavy equipment as scheduled and/or required, including removing personal belongings and trash from cab and wiping up spills etc.
    Ability to perform minor maintenance on equipment : Mechanical Aptitude a Requirement
    Demonstrates good judgment and the ability to think problems through; where applicable, identifies and suggests improvements enhancing job quality.
    Interacts in a professional, courteous and respectful manner that contributes toward a positive and productive worksite

You should have:
    5+ years Heavy equipment experience
    Must comply with the companys drug and alcohol policy requirements
    Must be self-motivated and organized
    Valid Class 5 license and reliable transportation; Class 3 and/or 1 an asset
    Physically fit with the ability to perform physical labor in all-weather conditions
    Able to take and follow instruction from supervisor, adjust to changing conditions and communicate any and all needs to supervisor as well as working as part of a team
