A part-time position is available for an Early Childhood Educator in Montmartre Licensed Daycare. Which is approximately a 25 space licensed daycare located within The Montmartre School. The successful applicant will be responsible for the children's wellbeing as well as the creation and implementation of developmentally appropriate programming. Applicants must be enthusiastic, able to take initiative and have a positive attitude. Experience with children and ability to work as part of a team is essential. Availability on short notice and/or flexibility in hours is preferred. Further information regarding CPR-First Aid training and Early Child Education courses will be discussed with selected applicants. Competitive wages based on qualifications. Follow provided program/curriculum provided by full time teacher
Able to fluctuate with various and different age groups at any given time Providing a safe environment for all children
Utilize the Play and Exploration principles Be a team player Have a positive attitude Punctual and dependable.
Qualifications:
Experience in a child care environment. Knowledge of Child Care Licensing Regulations and Act. A willingness to learn more about child care requirements Experience working with children Applicants with equivalent education in a related field that provides a good understanding of child development will be considered Good written and verbal communication skills Criminal record check
