Are you the next David Ogilvy or Mary Wells Lawrence? Do you have a passion for science, telling stories,and the ability to get people excited about a topic? Do you like working with children,teens,and adults?
The Saskatchewan Science Centre is looking for a Marketing Coordinator who can provide great ideas and help boost the profile of the Science Centre across Saskatchewan.
Your days will cover the marketing spectrum: writing copy, talking to the media, managing a website, working with social media, and shooting, editing, and producing video content.
In addition,youll be working directly with potential visitors on the streets of Saskatchewan,doing hands-on demos,working at public events,and being the centre of attention.
Summary
Working with the entire Science Centre team to build positive top of mind awareness for the Saskatchewan Science Centre,Kramer IMAX Theatre,and Atom + Geek Science Shop,and respective events and offerings.
Key Job Requirements
Passion and a positive attitude are very important. Good writing skills are equally important. Can you write long and short form advertising copy? Can your words get people excited about spending a day at the Science Centre?
The ideal candidate will have some experience working with basic HTML and web analytics, and a familiarity with being online and social media.
