Description

Montmartre Licensed Daycare Inc. is seeking a Full-Time Temporary Daycare Director over a 1 year period of maternity leave, for a 25 space licensed centre located within The Montmartre School. Applicants may email any questions to montmartredaycareboard@gmail.com Applicants are preferred to have ECE III or equivalent or be enrolled in. Competitive wages based on qualifications. Applicants are to be responsible for the day to day operations of the centre including:
* Ordering and Purchasing
* Lead and direct staff in daily duties
* Consult with government liaison and Board of Directors
* Conduct monthly staff meetings
* Manage and record finances
* Adhere to all polices and procedures stated in the daycare handbooks, bi-laws, and government regulations
* Knowledge of Word, Excel, and Simply Accounting
* Manage desk work, as well as time on floors (about 50/50 time)
* Attending and conducting reports for monthly Board meetings etc

 - Discuss progress and problems of children at staff meetings
 - Conduct and monitor activity programs designed for young children
 - Bathe, diaper and feed infants and toddlers
 - Arrange transition periods such as lunch and rest for children
