eHealth Saskatchewan, an innovative Treasury Crown Corporation has an exciting and challenging role for a seasoned Executive Director of Technology.  Reporting to the VP Programs & Technology this leadership position will be involved in the development and initiation of strategies and organizational frameworks within stakeholder policies, program needs, support system and data integration through consistent architecture and standards while anticipating future business needs and technology developments.

Key Responsibilities to succeed in this role
*  Providing leadership to the development and implementation of provincial IT/IM strategies, IT operations, development and integration strategies, cross-regional communication abilities, standards and funding to support our mandate, health section stakeholders, and their program priorities
*  Ensures optimization of IT investment value (hardware, software, financial and human resources) and ensures a secure info-structure.
*  Oversees the development and operations of eHealths operating network, server and security environment, service desk operations, overall risk management, disaster recovery, service continuity planning, ensuring 24/7/365  mission critical sustainability and access and protection of patient safety

To succeed in this environment, you will bring proven Senior Level IT leadership experience, 10 to 12 years experience with budget and people management abilities, excellent verbal and written communication skills.  A proven ability to engage and lead teams through change, combined with a high level of initiative with problem-solving abilities, and business savvy are required.
