Description

The Bagger and warehouse operator is responsible for the efficient operation of equipment to ensure quality packaged products in conformance with ETG safety, quality and cost standards. The ideal candidate will monitor and maintain the bagging room and will also be responsible for:
1.    Operate equipment to optimum efficiencies to meet quality, cost and operational requirements of daily schedules.
2.    Coordinate, schedule and track all product and packaging going to and going from bagger line.
3.    Must be able to interpret and follow process specifications to ensure the product and packaging meets ETGs quality and safety standards as well as customers specifications.
4.    Reduce packaging and product waste by operating equipment efficiently.
5.    Monitor actual production against schedule: communicate/coordinate required volumes with general manager.
6.    Create and maintain a teamwork environment within the facility.
7.    Notify management of any production, safety, quality or environmental concerns with equipment, operation or facility.
8.    Knowledge of bagging specifications, ranges, targets to meet quality standards.
9.    Follow production policies and procedures.
10.    Assist in maintaining the bagging room and assist in any warehouse duties.
11.    Work in compliance with ETGs Commodity Inc. Occupational Health and Safety Policy.

You are a clear and concise communicator and take pride in your work by paying a high attention to detail. You are a team player that leads by example and you take ownership of your responsibilities and special projects to ensure key deadlines are consistently met. High school diploma required.

1.    Forklift experience an asset.
2.    Heavy lifting required throughout the day.
3.    Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
4.    Organized and strong attention to detail.

Night shift: 3:00 - 11:30 pm
