Chateau St Michael's, a Personal Care Home located in Moose Jaw Saskatchewan is looking for Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN), RN, RPN to join our team. At our residence, the LPN oversees the care of the residents under the direction of the Director of Care. The successful candidates will work within their entire scope of practice and will be accountable for ensuring that the utmost in competent care is delivered to all residents. This opportunity awaits a motivated and ambitious professional with assisted living/Long Term Care experience.
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
Provide supervision of care and assistance with medications.
Document therapeutic effects.
Take vitals signs (temperature, blood pressure, pulse and respiration).
Collaborate with staff, clients and families to develop an ongoing care plan for each client.
Assist with resident comfort/pain management.
Prepare and administer injections.
Collect samples, monitor and change catheters.
Provide wound care.
Help orientate and coach staff.
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
We are looking for a responsible experienced LPN with leadership, motivational skills and a compassionate/friendly demeanor.
Up to date first aid and CPR certification
Current LPN License in Saskatchewan.
Willingness to work days, evenings, some weekends and holidays.
Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.)
- First Aid Certificate
- Licensure by the appropriate province or territory of work
- Eligible for licensure as a practical nurse by the province/territory of work
- Completion of the Canadian Practical Nurse Registration Examination
