Core Responsibilities:

Support the end to end production of multiple payrolls.
Perform necessary checks and reconciliations to confirm accuracy and desired results.
Support and deliver Payroll reconciliations and reporting requirements: Quarterly and annual WCB reporting; ROEs and other as required.
Support year end reconciliations, processing and reporting of T4s
Performs other assigned tasks, like balancing vacation accrual, in a timely fashion with strong attention to detail showing status and outstanding issues and balances.
Applies professional payroll professional standards, including accurate and timely data setup and maintenance

Required Professional Qualifications and Education

3 - 5+ years experience producing full cycle, in the delivery of payroll in a large complex organization or a variety of payroll environments (3,000+ employees)
Canadian Payroll Association PCP certification and active membership with the Association is required.
Proficiency / Previous working experience with SAP payroll systems is an asset.
Advanced knowledge of payroll practices, methodologies and procedures required
Strongly proficient in Microsoft Excel is an asset
Strong analytical skills. Excellent communication skills. Strong customer-service orientation
