Facility: WEYBURN GENERAL HOSPITAL
Job Description: This position is responsible to coordinate the activities of the Nursing Department and to provide direct patient care as required. The Nurse II (In-Scope Supervisor) has immediate responsibilities within the Emergency Department but is also responsible to collaborate with the other nursing units to provide direction and assist with activities as necessary. The Nurse II is responsible to direct the activities of the facility in the absence of other managers/supervisors. This position functions according to the policies of the District and the Nursing Department.
Required Qualifications

Bachelor Degree in Nursing
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
Basic Life Support (BLS)
Registered or eligible for registration with the Saskatchewan Registered Nurses Association (SRNA)
Experience
Two years previous experience in an acute care setting preferred.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Organizational skills
Ability to work independently and as a member of a multi-disciplinary team
Ability to adapt to changing conditions
Ability to competently use computers and software applications as required by the position
Ability to make decisions, which must include coordination of staffing, and/or patient care, and/or coordination of equipment
Communication skills to provide/obtain verbal and/or written opinions/advice

Scheduled hours of work may be reduced during the rotation stipulated when a statutory or designated holiday is recognized during that period.
Expected Start Date: February 2, 2019
Expected Up To Date: October 13, 2019
FTE: 1.00

Hours of Work: Shift Information: Days, Nights, Weekends
In a 4 week rotation
