We have an exciting opportunity for a detailed oriented accounting professional to join our Accounting and Reporting team. The successful candidate will provide timely and accurate financial and regulatory reporting, and settlement services to SaskCentral, its clients and Saskatchewan credit unions.

The Job
In this position you will use your technical skills to reconcile general ledger accounts and systems, and analyze accounts for errors and omissions. You will calculate and analyze data to ensure the accuracy of processed daily and monthly transactions. You will perform variance analysis, complex reconciliations and produce monthly and quarterly financial statements and schedules.  

The Candidate
The ideal candidate will have an accounting diploma and/or related work experience. Working toward a CPA designation would be an asset.  Knowledge of accounting principles, ledger applications and the automated banking system is required. Advanced skills in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word and Excel are essential.

You will be a flexible team player with the ability to problem solve and think creatively when faced with issues/problems. You will possess strong listening and communication skills, and exceptional organizational skills. You will be detail oriented and will effectively manage your time in order to meet tight deadlines.
