As a Small Business Account Specialist, you will have the opportunity to establish and grow long-term relationships with new and existing Metis Entrepreneurs and Communities.  Your passion for business, as well as your entrepreneurial spirit and skill, allows you to support your clients and provide advice regarding their business needs.  Applying your mindset for external marketing and client acquisition, you will develop new business, deepen client relationships and help Metis business clients succeed.  
Willingness to travel to communities and visit clients frequently in assigned portfolios.

What are we looking for?
An Undergraduate degree or diploma from a recognized post-secondary institution in economics, commerce or business administration.
Minimum of two (2) years experience in small business or commercial leading.
An equivalent combination of education and experience may also be considered.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Provide excellent customer service.
Ability to work independently, while also participating collaboratively as part of a team.
Ability to prioritize and complete deliverables with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office applications and willingness to learn other programs.
Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.

Preference for this position may be given to a Metis applicant.

A drivers license as well as access to a vehicle will be required. Final candidates for this position will be required to undergo security screening, including a credit and criminal record check.
