The Computer Network Technician will be responsible for, but not limited, to the following tasks:
- Provide technical assistance to computer system users within the office
- Install and perform minor repairs to hardware, software, and peripheral equipment, following design or installation specifications -Provide assistance concerning the use of computer hardware and software, including printing, installation, word processing, electronic mail, and operating systems.
- Perform regular maintenance and updates for office computers and IT equipment
-Troubleshoot local area networks (LAN) and internet systems - Refer major hardware or software problems or defective products to vendors or technicians for service
-Maintain and update our organizations website and social media accounts; including creating posts, responding to questions and/or comments made through website and social media accounts, etc.
- Recommend changes or updates in programming, documentation, and training to address system deficiencies and user needs.
-Digitize and catalog AFCS documents such as meeting minutes, agreements/contracts, reports, etc.
*Preference will be given to First Nations and Metis Youth
