Description

- Oversee driver training and knowledge testing
- Oversee driver qualifications and requalification programs
- Review inspection and audit reports to ensure reoccurring items and underlying causes are identified and remedied
- Evaluate practices, procedures and facilities to assess risk, non-conformity issues and adherence to safety rules
- Conduct accident and incident investigations
- Complete root cause analysis, prepare reports and make recommendations for senior management
- Implement action items and follow up for closure
- Stay apprised of industry standards and regulatory developments and communicate the impact of future changes
- Seek out industry best practices and more effective and efficient methods to achieve operational excellence
- Assess the business future ventures to identify possible compliance risks
- Maintain a strong safety culture while supporting the day to day activities of operational managers
