Humboldt Smiles Dental Studios is seeking a hygienist to fill a 10 month leave. This position would start March of 2019. Candidates applying for this position would be applying to join our dynamic team, in a well established, modern dental practice. The hours are very flexible and can be very accommodating for the person applying for this position. We will provide a travel allowance if needed. Benefits, wage and hours will be discussed at the time of the interview.
Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.)
- Dental Hygienists Licensure by the appropriate provincial or territorial governing body
Work Setting
- General dental practice
Dental Hygienist Specific Skills
- Administer local anesthetics
- Take, develop and mount X-rays
- Remove stains and deposits from teeth
- Instruct patients regarding oral hygiene
- Clean and stimulate the gums to prevent gum disease
- Apply fluoride treatment
