Our client has an immediate full-time permanent opportunity available for an Accountant in Saskatoon, SK      


Responsibilities:
    Responsible for budgeting, preparing financial statements, analyzing financial statements, year-end auditing and full-cycle accounting
    Preparing journal entries for day-to-day operations, analyzing accounts and making necessary adjustments
    Verification of cash receipt calculations and entry of sale and purchase transactions
    Ensure internal control procedures are followed and make recommendations for improving efficiencies.
    Ensure timely updates to Agridata, Fixed Asset continuity schedules and Inventory tracker
    Provide timely asset updates to Insurers to ensure all assets are adequately insured and facilitate annual Insurance renewal.
    Application and processing of AgriStability payments
    Coordinate management meetings by setting up agendas, providing meeting binders and drafting minutes.
    Assisting with other special tasks/projects as needed



Qualifications:
    Must have an accounting designation
    Bachelors degree in a related field is an asset
    Over 5 years of related experience is an asset
