BAR-B INN LTD Assiniboia Saskatchewan is looking for 2 full-time and permanent
Food & Beverage Servers (We encourage part-time seeker to apply the position.)
Salary & Working hour is $13.00-15.00/hr depending on experience (based on 36-40 hr/wk) Benefit: 5.9% paid vacation, overtime rate will be provided after 40hrs
Requirements: No education or experience is required. (But, it is as an asset). On-the-job training will be provided
Language: English
Responsibilities:
- Welcome, seat and engage with customers
- Present menus and inform of specials and recommendations
- Attend to guests who require specific attention (children, elderly, food allergies)
- Take orders and serve food and beverages
- Check customers identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age
- Process bills and accept payment
- Prepare tables by setting up linens, silverware and glasses
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area
- May order and maintain inventory if necessary
Candidates are willing to work any shift if needed

Food and Beverage Serving Skills
- Advise on menu selections
- Serve food and beverages, general plate service
- Present bills to customers and accept payment in cash, credit or debit cards, travellers cheques or room billings
- Describe menu items including daily specials for customers
Additional Skills
- Address customers' complaints or concerns
- Set tables
- Replace linen
- Enforce provincial/territorial liquor legislation and regulations
- Clear and clean tables, trays and chairs
- Assist customers with special needs
- Customer service oriented
- Must be of legal age to mix and serve alcoholic beverages
