The Back Shop Attendant is responsible for many operations outside of the proshop, offering customer service, cleaning, and other duties that may arise. Good communication and a desire to work in a positive atmosphere is a must.
Responsibilities:
-Cleaning of pro shop, washrooms, course
-Ensuring enough carts are out for customers and are ready for use
-Cleaning all carts at end of the night, placing all carts back in compound
-Picking the driving range every evening
-Water flowers
-Cleaning Clubs for members and players
-Tracking any damage to course equipment
-Working closely with pro shop staff
-Fill out the gas log at the end of the day.
-Make sure all the cart keys are in the pro shop and accounted for.
-Lock up the gates, club storage, and the recycling shed.
Knowledge, Abilities and Skills:
1. Excellent guest service skills.
2. Some knowledge of golf is preferred.
3. Ability to keep accurate records.
4. Ability to work well, and communicate effectively, within a team environment.
5. Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends, holidays and a variety of shifts.
